This session will introduce OSHX Lab — a new challenge-led innovation programme designed to accelerate safety, resilience, and operational excellence in complex, safety-critical environments. With founding partners including Heathrow Airport and the Health and Safety Executive, OSHX Lab provides a platform for regulators, infrastructure owners, and innovators to come together and solve shared challenges. The talk will explore why traditional silos between government and industry are no longer fit for purpose, and how OSHX aims to drive a more collaborative, challenge-based approach to innovation in the UK’s built environment.
