The UK Government’s ambitious economic growth plans rely on an expansion of housebuilding and the delivery of critical infrastructure across the country – while at the same time operating within restrained economic conditions limiting public sector investment. Those ambitions cannot be realised without a construction industry that is fit for purpose, innovating and investing in both the skills and the technology required to enhance productivity and provide the certainty required to enable significant private capital investment in major infrastructure schemes.
