Snows Timber has been through two years of huge change since 2017 when the appointment of Managing Director, Ian Church, took place. They have been through a huge modernisation program, and with a bright future ahead, a management buy-out took place in March 2019 – led by Ian.

With any change, the business has experienced a few “firsts” over the last couple of years.  With its most recent being the confirmation of their attendance at the UK’s largest built environment event, UK Construction Week.

Due to the management buy-out, Snows are proud to say they are the only independent, national timber distributor in the UK. The timing of UK Construction Week couldn’t have been better, as the show presents an opportunity to showcase the journey Snows has been on in its modernisation program, and most importantly, what that means for its future.

Alongside getting to speak face to face with their Managing Director, Ian and his team – you’ll also get the chance to see some exciting, new and innovative products including: -

• Provincial Plank: An interior wall cladding product that brings a natural, rustic touch to any interior design. (They have been lucky enough to be able to showcase this in the newly formed “Innovation Zone” at the show.)
• Timbertech Composite Decking: A sustainable, longer-lasting and low maintenance composite decking.

UK Construction Week welcomes over 35,000 visitors at its 3-day event at the NEC in Birmingham. This year it will run from 8-10th October and will consist of multiple sections: Build, Building Tech, Civils, Energy & HVAC, Timber, and the newly launched Concrete Expo.
