Mumford & Wood achieved Carbon Neutral status in 2022 and has since gone on to achieve The Carbon Neutral + status, provided when an organisation has calculated their GHG emissions inventory and offset all emissions plus an extra 10% on top of all calculated emissions.
Mumford and Wood already pledge to plant a native tree for every completed project, in addition to working to aid deforestation projects oversees.
Steps have also been taken to reduce our own factory carbon footprint by introducing solar panels, recycling schemes, hybrid and electric vehicles.
Matt Blaylock, Commercial Director comments;
'We continue to invest in sustainability projects to drive forward our green credentials, something that is really important to our business and customers.'
