Placing windows into the insulation base and therefore integrating them directly into the cladding system represents a major step towards energy efficiency in the construction of residential and other buildings. With its blaugelb customer brand, the Meesenburg Group offers a pre-wall installation system that is optimally tailored to the needs of the market and is now also available as a passive house-certified component in the window-fitting system sector. Not only does the system save on working time, but it also pays off financially, particularly when it comes to consumables.

The blaugelb Triotherm+ system allows energy efficiency in the construction of residential and other buildings to be achieved without much cost or effort, yet without restricting planning or further execution in any way. It is precisely for the passive house, an open construction concept which defines the standards for energy efficiency, comfort, economy and environmental awareness, that it is important to be able to rely on the correct and especially certified components.

“We were all convinced in advance that our system would meet the requirements for passive house construction. That this has now also been confirmed by the independent Passive House Institute (PHI) makes us very proud indeed,” explains Robert Leinert, Head of Product Management for the window and external door industry.

This certification applies not only for all depths of the blaugelb Triotherm+ system, but also for all window construction materials used (wood, wood-aluminium, aluminium and plastic windows). That means the system remains true to its credo of restricting the contractor as little as possible while still meeting the standards laid down by the rules and regulations.

The blaugelb Triotherm+ system is listed on the website of the Passive House Institute (www.passiv.de) as of now. This also offers every window manufacturer the opportunity to perform an individual U-value calculation. The Passive House Institute website is available in both German and English.
