UK Construction Week Birmingham (UKCW), the UK's largest built environment trade show, will take place at Birmingham's NEC. Industry professionals can explore the latest innovations, gain insights from thought leaders, and network with peers. 

Raise the Roof are delighted to partner with UK Construction week this year and will be attending the show alongside taking part in panel discussions during the 3 day event.  

Raise the Roof has developed from what was Women in Roofing, and is a small organisation, run by enthusiastic volunteers and set up to promote opportunities for all in the roofing industry   

The aim of Raise the Roof is to educate inspire and support. We do this through building collaboration through the UK roofing industry, offering support and encouraging networking for all those in the group. Our mission is to share ideas, contacts and for new entrants into our sector to know there’s someone out there to connect with, support them in the industry and help them to advance their career. 

Raise the Roof aims to promote inclusion across all sector stakeholders and the group sees its role as creating a friendly, supportive space which helps to retain roofing and cladding talent in the industry. The group is driven by its members and aims to be responsive to their requirements. 

UKCW Birmingham will feature over 300 leading brands, including Kingspan, Reco Surfaces, and SIG. This year, the event introduces a new stage dedicated to Net Zero and sustainability.

It is fantastic to see that due to growing demand, two new shows will be launched this year one being the ‘Roofing, Cladding, and Insulation Expo (RCI),’ bringing six shows under one roof and to this end Raise the Roofs partnership with the show will be more effective than ever.  

The Roofing, Cladding Insulation (RCI) Expo is the only roofing show in the UK and will make its debut at multi award-winning trade show, UK Construction Week Birmingham 2024, 1-3 October, connecting tier 1 contractors, suppliers and the wider industry. 

The RCI Expo is partnered up with the NFRC, Raise the Roof and the National Federation of Builders. 

Raise the Roof looks forward to welcoming current and prospective members to our stand at the show to learn more about the group and our aims and objectives and to take part in some thought provoking discussions whilst accessing valuable networking opportunities.
